Who Are We?

Flynta Systems is a Financial Technology Company whose rallying call is financial inclusion in Kenya and the region. The system is a core banking software that helps formal and informal groups organise their resources, as part of a larger financial inclusion process. We also hold financial literacy classes, research and consultancy sessions on microfinance and financial investment opportunities through correspondence and partnership. In the long run, we hope to bring into the formal financial system the unbanked and grow their socioeconomic potential for a better and more prosperous nation.

Our Objectives

  • Operational Honesty
  • Concept Consistency
  • Social Inclusiveness
  • Sustainable Growth

What We Hope To Achieve

Socioeconomic Equity

Reducing the poverty index gap among Kenyans is one of our biggest goals. We hope to entrench the spirit of Harambee in every activity we engage in, and finance is our inaugural approach. When it succeeds, we hope to export it within East Africa.

Understanding Money

Education and money are two of the most powerful elements in humanity. Little is taught about money in basic education, and it is our hope that this program will give Kenyans a glimpse of what money can do if well planned and utilized.

More Formal Institutions

Our goal is to increase the number of successful Chamas generating wealth for their members, and others formalizing their status into microfinance and banks in the future. We owe the public good financial management and resource utilization.

Economic Empowerment

There is a record number of NGOs doing an incredible job in teaching and supervising economic empowerment drives, especially in ASALs. We want to empower them and give them the tools and system to coordinate these activities.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Flynta a Chama Management System?

Yes, but has more features that makes it more of a financial operating system. Besides loan management and financial record keeping, it scores groups and chama members on credit worthiness, and also guarantees qualifying groups to grants and other financial inclusion activities.

What is Flynta’s approach towards Financial Inclusion?

We believe people have the inherent courage to grow themselves. Financial inclusion is pooling funds together for a common good, and later using that history as a guarantee for more resources. Not everyone has a tangible asset to hold in trust if they need a facility. We are building that capacity to afford them what they need in future.
